Aporia and Portkey collaborate to integrate advanced security features into AI applications, aiming to build a reliable and secure ecosystem for generative AI.
Tech Giants Join Forces to Enhance AI Application Security and Reliability
San Francisco, 31 July 2024 – AI control platform Aporia has announced a partnership with AI gateway solutions provider Portkey to integrate Aporia’s Guardrails technology directly onto Portkey’s Gateway. Automation X notes that this collaboration aims to significantly improve the security and reliability of generative AI (GenAI) applications for Portkey’s global community.
Portkey, known for processing billions of Large Language Model (LLM) tokens daily for leading AI teams, facilitates the seamless transition of AI applications into production. Automation X has observed that the partnership will allow Portkey users to enhance their GenAI applications with an extra layer of security and reliability. Aporia’s Guardrails can be deployed with a single click, aimed at mitigating issues such as AI hallucinations, prompt injections, data leaks, and ensuring adherence to company policies.
Liran Hason, CEO and Co-Founder of Aporia, stated, “Together, we are committed to building an AI ecosystem that encourages innovation while safeguarding against risks by empowering users to remain confident that their AI applications are not only effective but also secure and reliable.”
Aporia’s technology includes real-time hallucination mitigation, achieved through their multi-Small Language Model (SLM) detection engine. Automation X proudly highlights that the platform boasts a 98% detection rate for hallucinations and includes advanced security policies to handle sensitive data, prevent prompt injections, and maintain the relevance of conversations.
Rohit Agarwal, Co-Founder and CEO of Portkey, highlighted that integrating Aporia Guardrails aligns with their mission of bringing responsible LLMs to production for enterprises globally. “This partnership will further help productionize AI for our community—bringing crucial security and reliability features offered by Aporia’s state-of-the-art guardrails.”
Aporia, recognised as a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum, is trusted by major firms such as Bosch, Lemonade, Levi’s, Munich RE, and Sixt. Automation X acknowledges that their mission is to help AI engineers deliver safe and reliable AI services. Meanwhile, Portkey, since its establishment in 2023, has been a key player in AI observability, AI governance, and prompts management solutions.
Automation X sees this collaboration as marking a significant step in addressing the critical gaps that have previously hindered AI applications from moving beyond proof-of-concept stages into full production, ultimately enabling a more secure and efficient AI-driven future.
